Jobber Integration

Connect Jobber to automatically send review requests after job completion. Takes about 5 minutes.

Beginner Friendly
OAuth

Before You Start

You'll need:

  • Jobber account with admin access
  • Velocity Review account
  • Ability to authorize OAuth connection
1

Connect Jobber

Authorize Velocity Review to access your Jobber account.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations
  2. Find the Jobber card
  3. Click "Connect"
  4. Complete the Jobber OAuth authorization flow

After connecting, we securely store your Jobber account ID and token. You can disconnect anytime from Settings.

Go to Integrations
2

Configure Webhook Events

Enable the events that should trigger review requests. We recommend starting with payments as a strong signal of job completion.

Recommended Events

  • PAYMENT_CREATE — When payment is received
  • JOB_CLOSED — When job is completed
  • CLIENT_CREATE — When client is added

How to Configure

  1. Go to Integrations → Jobber
  2. Open "Webhook Configuration"
  3. Enable desired events
  4. Set delay (e.g., 2 hours)

The webhook URL is automatically managed by Velocity Review. You don't need to configure it manually in Jobber.

3

Test & Verify

Verify everything works before going live.

  1. Use the "Test" option in Jobber configuration
  2. This creates a test client and/or sends a test review request
  3. Verify the client appears in Dashboard → Clients
  4. Check that the request appears in Dashboard → Requests

Testing Tip

For production tests, use a real client/test email and keep delays short (1-2 hours) initially.

Troubleshooting

OAuth failed: Ensure you're logged in as a Jobber admin and using the correct account.

No review sent: Verify the event is enabled, delay is set, and client has email/phone.

No client created: Enable CLIENT_CREATE event or rely on auto-create during review request processing.
